Career Change
Friday, January 11th, 2008 Being in the rank and file position in a travel agency for several years without promotion made my friend decide for a career change. He decided to work in a construction firm. Construction industry is an industry where you can have lots of opportunities for skill developments and knowledge. He entered in this industry with not that much of skills and experience but he has been responsible for himself to continue develop his skills because he always thinks of his career development. Even he is already working in a construction firm, he still wants to have trainings for his skill development.
He told me that his job requires continues trainings and he wants to add expertise on this field he is in. I know that my friend is a competent worker which I think is one of the major keys in any field of industry. Every worker should not stop learning and developing his skills to achieve career development. We should not stop progression being in a rank and file position and must think of better career change.
